What is a “Factory Direct” Mattress Warehouse?
Out of the 400 plus mattress manufacturers in the U.S.A., How many mattress manufacturers or mattress brands can you name?
Most people automatically think: Serta, Sealy, Tempurpedic and maybe one more such as Sterns and Foster or Simmons.
Well guess what…….. if you named any or all of those five, you really only named one because all of those brand names that you know are all owned by the same company.
The other 399 mattress manufacturers are pretty much the same as these, they just don’t spend millions of dollars building that brand name.
Meanwhile almost all of these 400 other mattress brands get their original components from the same company.
That’s right! When you buy the “no name” brand, you are still getting the same product (for the most part) as when you buy the name brand. The only difference is, you will likely not spend as much money buying the no name brand.

(Never heard of them right)?
Here is a great mattress buying tip: The next time that you are researching and purchasing a new mattress, visit a couple of stores that do not sell the brand names. Ask some questions regarding the construction of their mattresses. Ask what type of padding that they purchase and use from The Carpenter Company. Ask them what spring system is in a particular mattress. (It’s just like buying a car or air conditioner. You need to know which “motor” / “construction” of the mattress rather than what name brand if offers). If you do that you will find out how much they know and what you should be looking for when buying a new mattress.
The foam padding for a new mattress comes in different densities and the quality varies.
There are only about 20 different spring systems that can go in a mattress. Knowing which one fits you is the best way to buy a new mattress.
